An engineering company have seen a drop in customers of their products. They call in a strategic designer to explore solutions to the problem.
The strategic designer arranges qualitative interviews with people that could potentially benefit from the products.
In the interviews he dives deep into the core of their needs. With this knowledge he arranges a workshop with relevant representatives from the company.
He presents the findings and facilitates a co-creation session where feasible solutions are brain stormed.
He prototypes the best solutions and test them to see if they have the desired effect. On this basis, they are evaluated, optimized and a final solution design is selected.
