Example of work as an Accountant

An accounting firm have had corporate client for years. Now it is time for the annual audit.

A small team of accountants travel to the client’s office. At their office they will work together with the client’s finance department.

The accountants start out by asking questions concerning the accounting processes.

Next, the accountants draw samples of the company’s bookkeeping for control.

The following days they finish the documentation and use an exported overview from the client’s bookkeeping system to make the annual report.

Once that is done the head of the team returns to the client’s office to approve the annual report.
