  • Update, involve and align with stakeholders

  • Document project progress

Example of work as a Project manager

The head of marketing has decided to change the product catalogue. Each market used to make their own catalogue, but now she wants only one global version.

A project manager arranges a kick-off meeting with the catalogue responsible for each country. At the meeting he presents the vision and the roadmap to getting there.

By breaking down the project into individual tasks the project manager is able to delegate to relevant colleagues.

To ensure progress the project manager arranges bi-weekly status meetings where they can share learnings and discuss issues.

After two months he arranges a meeting with the catalogue responsible again to update them and ensure buy-in.
